Hello,
I need/have to replace the brake drums on my Golf 3. However, the new ones from the aftermarket supplier don't have an ABS sensor. Before I embarrass myself by potentially having the wrong parts or not knowing how to replace the ABS sensor, I'd rather ask about it publicly here.
Okay, let's be specific again. Are there different brake drums for vehicles with and without ABS? And if there is no difference, how is the sensor (not the sensor in the anchor plate!) modified?
Thank you for your help. GOLF 3 GT SPECIAL TDI VARIANT, Bj.95, 1Z, ~390.000km

That must be a perforated metal sheet; be careful not to bend it too much, otherwise it won't hold properly later. Gruß, der Teileklaus
