Hello,
When I was initially installing my V6 engine, I gathered various spare parts. Among them was an electronic injector with an NHG nozzle, and a clever tinkerer had cut the cable. I would now like to reinstall this injector and am looking for someone who has experience with this. It seems the injector can be disassembled, but I'm not ready to do that yet. Later, it will all break down into its individual pieces, and then I'll have a nice puzzle.
"Back in the day," when the Earth was still believed to be flat, you could buy individual parts for electronic fuel injectors from Bosch and repair them yourself. I haven't been able to find out if that's still possible today.
Regards,

You can probably find a connector at a hardware store, but if the cable is detached directly at the nozzle, it's unlikely that will work. Unless Rainer has something else up his sleeve. Gruß Christian

Okay, thank you. The cable is cut about 5 cm from the nozzle, but somewhere inside, it's somehow attached to the spool. My hope is that I can connect the replacement cable at that point. I assume by "plug," you only mean the plastic part without the wires or other components.

Hello,
The NHG (likely referring to a specific agreement or document) is irreconcilable; there's nothing that can be repaired. The remaining piece of cable should be long enough for soldering.

"Stecker" refers to the plastic housing, and the contacts can be purchased from VAG as pre-assembled cables. Gruß Christian
