Audi 80 TDI AC: Climate Control for 93 Models

I'm having a problem with my air conditioning.

Okay, so it's a manual air conditioning system. When I turn it on, the compressor engages and it noticeably gets cooler.

Eventually, it starts happening, and you notice a distinct jerking during driving, approximately every 10-20 seconds. It didn't do that before.

Man hört ein deutliches schalten einen Relais oder Schalter aus dem Beifahrer-Fußraum, dann schaltet kurz drauf ein Relais im Fahrer-Fußraum, der Kompressor schaltet sich zu….und es ruckt….und Sekunden später, es klackt wieder im Beifahrer-Fußraum und die Magnetkupplung schaltet den Kompressor wieder ab. Und das Always going in circles...



Can someone perhaps tell me something about that...?

The system was last filled with fluid about two years ago.



I read something about a pressure switch here. Does anyone know where it's located?

I suspect that the air conditioning system is being repeatedly turned off and on by the low-pressure switch due to a refrigerant leak.
Oh yeah: your manual climate control system is diagnosable, so you can easily check it.
