Could it be unusual that, when starting my Galaxy's engine in low outside temperatures, the electric fan immediately turns on? If I turn off the climate control (eco mode), it turns off - there are no error messages in the control unit! The temperatures in block 1 are all the same and correspond to the outside temperature!
My old Passaf AFN, which previously had Climatronic, didn't do that before!
It doesn't really bother me, but I feel sorry for the expensive fans somehow!
The purpose of the continuously running fan when the air conditioner is on is to allow the air conditioner's condenser to dissipate heat (allowing the refrigerant to transition from a gaseous to a liquid state).
I doubt your Passat didn't do that (if everything was alright).
