Hello and Happy New Year!
along with problems that I have been experiencing for some time now:
I have now encountered the following error message for the second time:
Address 25: Immobilizer
Label file: RKS\6X0-953-257.lbl
Part number: 6X0 953 257.
Component: IMMO 0008
Encoding: 00001
Operating number: WSC 60712
(Chassis number)
"One error found:"
01202 - Diagnostic line.
44-10 - Short circuit - Intermittent.
A remote control was replaced, the key has been reprogrammed multiple times, and the Window/Mirror/Sunroof module (WFS) was recently reinitialized again. So, what could be causing this? The timing might fit, and according to the Ross-Tech Wiki, it could be one of two things:
- Short circuit detected between the K and W lines (?) at the WFS module (J362).
- WFS module error (J362).
What exactly is this part? Is it a reading coil or something else?
The navigation system was replaced with an aftermarket product around the same time. However, it's working without any issues, and the diagnostic connector doesn't show a red light. So, can I rule out this as the cause?
I experience the following error messages alternately or simultaneously:
If the engine fails to start:
Address 01: Engine
Control unit part number: 022 906 032 C.
Component and/or version: MOTRONIC ME7.1 G 0004
Encoding: 00013
Company registration number: WSC 60712.
"One error found:"
17978 - Engine control unit locked.
P1570 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent.
Readiness: 0000 0001
If the ESP warning light doesn't turn off after starting the engine:
Address 03: Brakes Label file: RKS\7D0-907-379.lbl
Part number: 7D0 907 379 E.
Part: ESP 5.3 T4 FRONT V37
Encoding: 06639
Operating number: WSC 02744
"One error found:"
18256 - Please read the error memory of the engine control unit.
P1848 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent/Sporadic.
As I said – the messages can appear individually or combined, so message address 03 will still show up even if nothing is displayed on the MSG screen.
Can someone interpret this finding? The workshop doesn't have a clue.
Regards,
Stephan.
