Hi.
I have various versions of the part number 3C0 937 049 in different cars.
Golf5 3C0 937 049 AJ (30 bytes in Autoscan).
3C 3C0 937 049 AE (one with xenon headlights, one without) (both are 23 bytes in the Autoscan).
Byte 23 is interesting, but it's only relevant within the 30-byte label (LBL) for parts with the same part number.
EDIT: Of course, because 23 bytes end with byte 22.
There's actually a turning light above the fog lights.
Which BNSTG models can do that?
If there are only "00000" in the back, does that still constitute a 30-byte value, and could the Golf handle it with that?
m;
BRÜLL: LC,04,7, Flux compensator installed.
EDIT: Is a 30-byte "word" sufficient for a 30-byte storage unit and thus enable the ability to use turn signals with fog lights?

That looks very much like a cropped 3C-09.lbl file .
That's where I got the line I quoted above.
I really need to finally figure out what VCDS does with all those LBL, XPL, and other files...
Perhaps the T5 can also "turn" .
The newer Passat models that I'm familiar with all have "unfortunately" come equipped with xenon headlights.

Let me see if the T5 can do that... I haven't thought about it before, and I already have enough of that thing, especially since I only get to drive it very rarely...

Okay, I played around with the Caddy. The AJ control unit has some interesting features.
There's a problem. The Caddy only has one key with remote central locking (FFB) and one without. However, there's an issue: When using either key to unlock the car (using the physical key), only the driver's door opens. Locking all doors, however, works fine. Unlocking also works if the other key is in the ignition and the ignition is turned on. The locking cylinder seems to be recognizing the different states. What exactly should I investigate further... or could it be due to the non-installed flux capacitor?

Is the single door opening programmed?
I'm not familiar with such problems; I don't have any visible locking cylinders .
Does the Caddy have automatic headlights?
If not, could you still enable the "Coming Home" and "Leaving Home" features or one of them?

He has CH and LH... also the light sensor as well. The cornering lights are already coded and working. The key thing is a bit awkward because two people need to operate it. Single door unlocking isn't activated; all doors open, which is fine so far. The windows can also be opened and closed with the FFB or the key... I've tried several things now and haven't found a solution yet. Yes, on Fridays we sometimes work on personal projects here , but of course only for a very short time.

Just buy a replacement remote control.
If you consider the few euros and apply them to the lifespan of the car, it's really a good value.

That would certainly be the simplest solution and is probably what's happening. However, the current behavior of the vehicle is also quite strange. All doors should open with the key, especially since the other key is in the ignition and everything seems to be working perfectly...
Okay, let's keep coding until we find a solution... By the way, having the parking light on with the turn signal is totally ridiculous-looking... but it's interesting to see what's possible.
What is the difference between a "ZV" (likely referring to a central locking system) with and without "safe" functionality? Does "DWA" refer to something specific? I'm still not understanding everything.

...and why on earth can you turn off the side indicators...? ...we're only interested in the doors anyway....
Does anyone know the equipment code for the brake pad wear indicator? The Caddy has the cable visually connected to the brake pads, and if you enable it in the instrument cluster (IC), it requests a brake pad check. This suggests that the wiring harness is not connected, right? Also, it doesn't have a windshield washer sensor .
And generally speaking, is it possible to adjust the brightness settings on the "MFA Mouse Cinema" device in some way, so that you can set the contrast (CH) and luminance (LH), or do you need the largest possible "MFA" for that?
A thousand questions... I probably have to take the bus again , which will lower my daily productivity.

So, in the 3C setting, you need MFA+ to be able to adjust the LH and CH settings.
They exist in the "Highline" AI, as opposed to "Midline" and "Lowline" AI.
I think it's nice when turn signals are used as daytime running lights. But it depends on the car. It also looks strange on the G5.
I'm starting to suspect that the rotation of the xenon lenses, even when the bulbs are turned off in "TFL on fog lights" mode, is a bug in the BNSTG system. It's likely sending a signal to the lenses: "Hey, light is on," and they start spinning as a result.
Okay, so I'm looking for a Xenon 3C with a newer BNSTG and hoping I can get the chance to program it sometime. (Maybe in two weeks).

I believe the Caddy has a smaller MFA (Multi-Function Display), but I'm not very familiar with it. As a Golf IV owner, and knowing that my T5 also has the larger MFA due to the factory navigation system...
Okay, so in the Caddy MFA, there is no "Lh CH" menu option. The LH CH can actually be activated via the auto function of the light switch. It would be great if we could do something about that, but who am I to say? Having fun is important, right Martin ?
