Hi,

Brake adjusted to default setting, bleed valve (MWB) 007 opened, brake caliper removed.
Now the question arises: how do you reset the piston?

Does it connect via threads, as was common in older systems?

"Thank you."

Greetings.
John.

It's been taken care of.
After some trial and error, it could now be adjusted with a feel for the right amount of force, and then locked into place.

Threads, as usual icon_smile.gif.

Yes, you can easily revert to the previous setting. For example, with the A8, you still have to manually enter the pavement thickness later, but with the A6, that's not necessary. I don't know about the Passat right now.

Greetings.

Exactly. Just set the basic settings at the end, and you're done.

small note / brief comment.

For models with the electric parking brake, the piston (like on the front) can be retracted. It doesn't need to be rotated.
