The disc stops even though the switch is activated before it has closed.
Cause:
The electric window mechanism has not been properly initialized according to the regulations.
The blades are not initialized and therefore have no orientation towards the upper stop (closed position) after a power interruption, reset, replacement of the window motor, disconnecting the battery, damage, or removal of the fuse.
Solution:
Generally, the new initialization after turning on the ignition following a reset (disconnecting the battery for at least 30 seconds) should be performed as follows:
About Internal Switches:
When initializing each switch blade, the following steps should be taken:
For open slices:
Activate the "Lift" switch until the blades stop at the top stop.
Release the switch
Activate the "Lift" switch for at least 2 seconds.
Power-off switch
Similarly, initialization must be performed during the "lowering" process.
When the discs are closed:
Activate the "Lift" switch for at least 2 seconds.
Release the switch
Press the "Lift" switch again for approximately 2 seconds.
Similarly, initialization must be performed during the "lowering" process.
Also, if an electric sliding roof is present, it should also be re-initialized in the same manner. Tschüss
