UHV in the Touran - what else is needed?

Hello everyone.
I have a head-up display (HUD) in my Touran. What is required to connect it to my Samsung Galaxy S3, possibly via Bluetooth?

I've already enabled and made the Bluetooth visible using VCDS, but the phone still won't connect. Do you perhaps have any suggestions?

The question is whether the casing is even necessary if everything is only supposed to work via Bluetooth.
I'll try the thing about waiting 10 seconds after ignition tomorrow to see if the phone connects during that time. Because when I enable Bluetooth via VCDS, the UHV (likely referring to a specific identifier or code) becomes visible on the phone.

As stated in the instruction manual, the shell also requires a multi-function steering wheel, which I do not have.

I just checked, and it looks like there's a pairing adapter that would probably work. Because, as far as I can see, there are no cases available for the Galaxy S3.

Yes, those cases that don't fit the S3 and look like they're meant to hold a phone look silly when they're empty. Besides, they are unnecessarily large.

Replacing a steering wheel means:
Airbag removal - is it allowed?
Steering column control unit, possibly needs to be replaced - also needs to be reprogrammed.
Buy a steering wheel with a matching MuFu chip and encode it.

I think I'll accept the challenge of rebuilding the steering wheel, since I only have a plastic steering column in there .
If there were a housing for the S3, that would be the most elegant solution.

Finding leather steering wheels with multifunction buttons specifically for the Touran is quite rare. Would parts from a Golf V GTI also fit there, for example?

But be careful... during the pairing process, a message will pop up in the Android notification bar (asking you to grant access). This needs to be confirmed with a "Yes," otherwise it still won't work, even though the FSE claims otherwise.
