Passat 3c key programming

Now, here is the continuation of key learning for electronic keys for the Passat 3c, based on Michael II's report dated 8/20/2003.

It remains the case that all keys must first be deleted before being re-programmed in a single operation.

One of the key elements is to activate the ignition, so that contact can be established with Control Unit 46 (Comfort System) via VCDS. Then remove the ignition key, and the contact remains even without the ignition.

Then: Select "Customize".

Then just take the keys and activate the door opening button. The vehicle beeps to indicate payment. And with the next key, do the same. The car is flashing, and that's that.

If this does not function correctly, an entry will be made in the error memory with the approximate meaning "Incorrect key coding".
