I would like to have the fuel injectors on my Allroad properly adjusted, in both stages, after 420,000 km. However, no matter which diesel service I contact, they all tell me that they no longer offer this service.
Among them were true professionals who professionally overhaul and adjust VP44 injection pumps, but they don't handle injector holders?

Or should I just replace the nozzles and that will be enough?

The nozzle holder combinations for engines with VP44 injectors are adjusted differently than those with VP37 injectors, and usually cannot be adjusted at all in the first stage.
Even with tricks, it's possible, but the effort involved doesn't justify the benefit.

New injector nozzles and they seem good. It's still important to check if they work properly.
