Audi A4 B7 Wiper Problems: Front & Rear Fix

Hello.

"On my 3.0 TDI, manufactured in 2005, neither the front nor the rear windshield wipers are working, and neither is the windshield washer. When I check the measuring blocks with VCDS, all functions controlled by the FIS (multifunction display) lever are not working."

"When I run the diagnostic tests in the Body Control Module (BCM), everything works – the lights, the horn, etc. – but the wipers still don't work."
However, if I disconnect the plug at the output of the BNS (Body Control System) and bridge the positive terminal to the windshield wiper motor (green/yellow wire), the wipers work!

I had previously purchased a different BNS (Body Control Module), with part number 8E0907279 L installed, and now I've installed another one with the same part number, 8E0907279 L, but unfortunately, I'm experiencing the exact same problem with it.

What else can I do?

The hood is indicated as closed on the display.
And yes, if the hood is open, it also displays "KI open" (presumably referring to some kind of indicator).

Can I transfer the entire switch assembly, including the turn signals, hazard lights, and wiper lever, from a 2002 model into a 2005 model?

I just wanted to try it out to see how it works.

It's also raining here, but it's warm, and we don't have to be overly polite about it .

It's unlikely that the steering column levers are the cause if all switch positions are being correctly recognized and therefore transmitted to the central locking and starting system (BNStG).
Do the encodings match, and how/when did the error actually occur?
Please provide us with a complete car scan.

Yes, the coding is correct; I installed the GRA about a year ago .

I've also re-coded it again, just now!
I have also re-encoded the BNSG.

Unfortunately, we're experiencing the same problem again , despite the lovely weather.

Modifying both the steering column lever and the individual levers didn't achieve anything, except for destroying two cars in the process.

I will do a complete scan as soon as everything is put back together .

Is there a potential serial defect with component "8E0907279 L" such that the error reappears after the component is replaced?

According to the coding, the body control module is programmed for a "sedan" model, but sedans don't have a rear windshield wiper.

The correct value would likely be 10101 instead of 00101 (and 11101 if a light/rain sensor is installed).

Therefore: It's best to get a vehicle scan done when purchasing a car and keep that scan as a reference.
Then, when replacing control units, you always know how they should be programmed.

Yes, I briefly programmed that feature for the soda dispenser.
It has been reprogrammed to Avant again, as of late last night.

That would actually only affect the rear wiper.
That's my understanding.

Is there still a relay with a normally closed contact for load shedding in the B7 system?
If that were the case, then the light shouldn't go out either.
