Octavia Dashboard Not Working: No Display, Completely Dark

Hello,

I'm having a problem with my Octavia 1U5 1.9 TDI 90hp, manufactured in 2005.

After a few days of inactivity, the entire instrument cluster is completely non-functional, displaying no information whatsoever: no clock, no odometer, no backlight, and no warning lights except for the charging indicator (battery).
The battery is full, and it starts briefly but then immediately shuts off; I think it might be due to the immobilizer.

I haven't experienced any problems so far.
I've checked the fuses, and they are working.
I've read about problems with the instrument cluster during my search, and I've already removed it.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit es zu prüfen? Spannung drauf? Wyes, but where?

Does anyone have any ideas?

I would focus on checking for cold solder joints, defective electrolytic capacitors, and the power supply to the AI chip. If nothing obvious is apparent there:
Without much time or expertise, visiting a Skoda workshop will be the quickest solution in this case. Ask there if a used instrument cluster (WFS) can be adapted, which would be cheaper than a new one.
