Can the OT also be found using a multimeter on the sensor of the AFN?

Thank you and best regards.

No,
There is a tachometer, but no oil pressure sensor.
Also, its signal should also not be easily visible with a multimeter in a quasi-static state.
What is the real problem?

You can easily find the OT by marking it on the flywheel. It will either be a 0 or an I. You can see this marking through a hole in the gear housing.
In the hole, the exact position is marked by a casting spout. This applies to both horizontal and vertical installations.

I fully understand the question. The muzzle guard is no longer (apparently) visible on one of my AFNs!

Hi,

The nozzle is located exactly in the center of the gear bell, simply take the center of the hole if no nozzle is visible.

Best regards, Rainer

At 1Z, it's the "reference edge" of the viewing hole, not a nose. Perhaps it's also the case with AFN. icon_idea.gif
At least here, yes

Golf 3 and similar models with aftermarket gearboxes, specifically those with 02A gearboxes, are considered to have a "short throw".

Long-running installations for Audi A4 B5, Passat 3B etc. "Trim edge" (the photo posted by Herbert, link)

That's how I know it; icon_smile_thumb_up.gif
