Hello,
I drive a VW Bora 1.9 TDI PD (AJM) and I'm experiencing a problem where the engine revs up briefly after starting. I've found through online searches that this is likely related to the G62 sensor. Where can I find this sensor? When the engine is warm, it also starts poorly; is that related?
Best regards, Hüso. |

Hello,
It's me again, does anyone know where I can find a parts catalog online? The link here on the board is no longer working!
Best regards, Hüso. |

'I had the same problem: The engine always seemed to be in pre-glow mode (even when the engine was already warm), and the RPM would jump to around 1500-2000 when starting a warm engine. The G62 sensor is located on the AJM engine, hidden below the cylinder head behind the plastic cover. There are 4 wires connected to this sensor. It's a bit difficult to find, but if you follow the coolant hoses, you'll find it.' I think that part cost around 25 euros.
