Hello everyone,
I have been dealing with a problem with my Audi A4 B7 3.0TDI engine for two weeks: ASB, Transmission: JAX, Mileage approximately 233k.
I had problems with the plunger rod of the Saugrohrklappe2 being worn out. Subsequently, I expanded this and temporarily installed a fixed stop for the stepper motor --> this problem was thus initially resolved.
After reassembling the air intake, etc., the engine will not start.
What has already been checked:
- All the connectors/wiring harness appear to be in good condition.
- The diesel filter is approximately 1/2 year old (max. 5000km).
- Measurement of fuel pressure at the inlet and outlet of the diesel filter (Inlet 0.35bar / Outlet before the fuel temperature sensor 0.3bar). Controlled via VCDS.
- Purging the fuel system down to the HDP (Diesel in the HDP + no air visible at the inlet).
- HDD drive belt: Visual inspection appears to be in order.
- Measurement of fuel return volume for all 6 injectors: Not possible as no fuel is coming through (6 attempts, each lasting 10 seconds, were tried).
- Venting procedure according to Elsawin performed: Pressure regulating valve disconnected and then started 4x for 10 seconds each.
Basically, I'm not getting any rail pressure. The value remains constant at 0.0 bar!
I should receive two "new" (used) railway pipes with a pressure-regulating valve + pressure sensor within the next few days. However, I can hardly imagine that the pressure sensor or pressure-regulating valve will simply stop working completely overnight. So, without any prior registrations...
In my last attempt, I wanted to check the injectors (return measurement). Since my engine wouldn't start, I tried starting it repeatedly. However, I also didn't reach any conclusions here: No diesel is coming out of the nozzles (which may also indicate a pressure of 0.0 bar in the rail

).
I'm wondering now where the pressure is disappearing. All the pressure lines are fixed. If I open a fitting during the starting process, some diesel will come out.
In the attachment, I have attached the following files:
- Images of the Diesel Pressure Measurement
- HD Pressure Measurement Video
- Video of a launch attempt
- Log file of a startup attempt
- Car scanning
The car scan also includes the error message regarding the intake valve flaps. Currently, the car is functioning correctly in all control units.
