Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any ideas about what I could check without much effort?

I've been experiencing coolant loss for some time now...

I've already replaced the flanges for the transition to the heat exchanger, as well as the radiator, which was cracked on the side, and the gasket from the coolant flange on the engine. However, the coolant loss is still present, although not as severe.

- No oil in the water
- No water in the oil
- No white smoke
- Starts well both cold and warm
- No noticeable loss of power
- The water pump doesn't appear to be leaking from above
- I've added UV dye to the coolant so I can better locate leaks. I tried pressing down for about 30 minutes while it was warm, but the level hasn't dropped... I haven't done a CO test yet, and that way I wouldn't be able to tell if the problem is with the oxygen sensor or, for example, the AGR cooler?

Regarding the car: Golf 5, manufactured in late 2004, 2.0 TDi BKD engine, has run approximately 305,000 km.

Best regards,
Tom
