Faulty Brake Disc (Solution)

Hi,
During the necessary brake maintenance on the Golf 7, the disc on the left front was extremely difficult to remove. I'm used to the fact that after removing the retaining screw, the discs should at least come loose from the hub with a few taps using a plastic hammer in the hub area. Everything was for nothing - hitting with a plastic hammer, trying to turn the hub, using a rust remover overnight.
Finally, pushing from the inside, as shown in the second image (thanks to the unknown mechanic elsewhere for the idea), helped. A screw through the hole for the brake carrier in the wheel hub housing, a nut to support it, and a plate to push against. This worked smoothly without any effort. The disc was firmly seated on the hub's central bearing.
Now it's working again.

Servus zusammen,

ich habe mit Anti-Seize-Paste (von W....., gibt's auch als Spray) sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht.
Vor der Montage der Bremsscheibe den Zentrierbund sparsam mit der Paste einstreichen und das nächste Mal fällt die BS nach Lösen der Montageschraube quasi von alleine ab.
Auch an anderen Stellen, wo Witterungseinflüsse und/oder Temp.-Schwankungen festgegammelte Verbindungen begünstigen (Auspuffstehbolzen, Krümmerschrauben, Lambdasonde,
Schrauben durch die Metallhülsen von Fahrwerkslagern, Befestigung der unteren Motorverkleidung etc.), leistet die Paste gute Dienste.

das Festgammeln der Scheibe auf der Nabe verhindert bei mir seit Jahren erfolgreich eine dünne Schicht Kupfermontagepaste.
