VCDS for Porsche Models

We own a VCDS HEX-NET with the latest update, which we believe is version 24, and we are generally very satisfied with it. We mainly use this for our Audis and VWs.
Now, let's consider whether the VCDS can also be used to read fault memory in a Porsche Cayenne GTS (2015) or a Porsche Cayenne S Diesel. Does anyone have information about this?

It's simply about reading out. Currently, nothing should be deleted or encoded, but only read and checked.
Is this possible with the current VCDS? Does an adapter need to be used?

Has anyone ever done this before?
