Dear friends,
I now have the opportunity to work on a common-rail diesel engine for the first time.
My daughter's Polo 6R (2015 model year) has a fuel line leak in the engine compartment.
The exchange shouldn't be a problem. I'm just wondering if I need to take any precautions when starting the engine after the repair. Or do I need to somehow bleed the fuel system?
Thank you all!

Hi,
Of course, you should bleed it. As with a filter change, run the fuel pump using VCDS. And work cleanly.
