To my shame, I have to admit that I'm not very familiar with VCDS, or haven't been for the past few years.
I replaced the timing belt, including the pulleys, water pump, etc., over the weekend, and I'd like to know how much I messed it up .
Audi A3 8PA engine code CBBB (2.0 TDI CR EA189)
What values should I look at?
I'd like to sleep a little more soundly; this is my wife's car.
Thank you and best regards.
David.

Hi,
Attached is a Screenshot of the measurement values for the camshaft that can be found in the MSG using VCDS on my CJCD (EA189 Gen. 2). This should be similar for you. The meaning of these values is unclear.
You can check the quality of your valve timing adjustment by performing a mechanical inspection as described in the RLF (refer to the RLF for details).
- Manually rotated the engine in the direction of rotation.
- ZR voltage correct.
- KW stop installed on the drive gear.
- NW can be disconnected (mandatory).
- HDP is being blocked (Kür).
This ensures that the correct settings are sufficiently secure.
