hello,

'I've been experiencing this issue for quite some time now, and no one has been able to help me so far. Specifically, when the outside temperature is below 5°C, the power loss in my V6 engine is worse than that of a Trabant – it simply doesn't pull at all. It only starts working properly once it reaches a certain temperature. I now have the opportunity to test a different M-control unit, but as you can see, the temperatures aren't high enough for proper testing. And I only have 14 days to do this.'
Does anyone perhaps have an idea what else it could be and what I should do now? icon_eek.gif

Try using ice sprays to cool down specific points and then test to see what's causing the issue icon_cool.gif.

My colleague's engine was running erratically when it was warm, and the ADAC technician directly injected fuel into the engine... but maybe someone here has another idea. icon_idea.gif

Hello,

When the engine is cold, check the following:
- Easy adjustment of the charging system (you can't spray anything here; the refrigerant canister will likely be empty before the charging system gets any colder).
- Check the bypass damper (if present) to ensure it is operating smoothly and in the correct position (open).
- Allow all electrical connections, sensors, and potentially the control unit itself to cool down.
"Check the values of the temperature sensors (engine, intercooler, etc.) when it's running poorly. However, what's puzzling me is that there are no error codes stored; it could potentially be an issue with the engine control unit itself."

Best regards, Rainer.
