Hello, fellow diesel enthusiasts,
Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything using the search function.
Vehicle. Golf IV TDI, 90 hp, manufactured in 1998, base model (meaning with the 4-spoke steering wheel).
The button on the upper right side of the steering wheel is no longer working, but the other 3 buttons are okay. My customer service representative said that something might have broken inside the airbag, and therefore, the repair would likely be quite expensive.
Does anyone else experience this problem, or is there anyone else in this forum who has encountered this before?
Best regards.
Alois.

Hello, so I mean, everything related to the airbag can be disabled without affecting the button. It has nothing to do with the button itself.
Just remove the airbag and see what's wrong.
