Hello everyone,

I hope you can help me. My parents own an Audi A4 Avant TDI with 90 horsepower (first registered in June 1996).
The air conditioner is now emitting unpleasant odors. My question: Where can I spray the air conditioner cleaner?

"I haven't had to do that with my Fiat Stilo JTD. With my previous Marea, I simply removed the pollen filter, inserted the hose as far as it would go, and then just poured the product in."

Thank you for your answers.

Hi Dokky,

Okay, remove the pollen filter (it's located on the top left of the water tank), insert the hose, and you're ready to go!
Before that, make sure to set the ventilation to its maximum setting.

Okay. Can a fan be connected to it? With the Marea (year 1997), you had to force the hose past the fan. The fan was located in the engine compartment. I'll try that out.

Thank you very much.

But be careful, the hose shouldn't be inserted so far that it gets in the way of the fan.

It's usually better (and cleaner) to use the recirculation vent inside the car. You can hold the bottle upright there and don't need to remove anything.

Just turn it on and insert the hose into the opening of the valve.

We did it in the engine compartment. It was a piece of cake.
