Basic settings for Teves Mark 20 IE.

ATTENTION:
Since this procedure involves modifying parameters that are critical to safety, it should only be performed by individuals with the appropriate expertise and experience.

A diagnostic system is needed.
For these procedures, the ABS control unit must be selected.

1. Bleeding the hydraulic unit.
2. Deactivating the longitudinal acceleration sensor.
3. Zero offset for steering angle sensor.
4. Zero-offset adjustment for lateral acceleration sensor.
5. Zero offset sensor for brake pressure.
6. Zero-offset sensor for longitudinal acceleration.

When replacing the J104 control unit, a zero offset adjustment must be performed for the following components:

Accelerometer G200 for lateral acceleration.
G85 steering angle sensor.
Donor 1 for brake pressure G201.
Donor 2 for brake pressure G214.
Donor for longitudinal acceleration G251.

Bleeding the hydraulic unit.

1. Perform the login procedure. Code: 40168.
2. Select basic settings.
3. Enter number 001.

System depressurized.

Deactivating the longitudinal acceleration sensor.

The longitudinal acceleration sensor G251 is reactivated by briefly turning the ignition off and then on.

1. Select basic settings.
2. Perform the login procedure. Code: 40168
3. Enter 040.

When the display shows "System in Default Setting 40", the sensor is deactivated.

Zero offset for steering angle sensor.

1. Start the vehicle. Perform a short test drive on a flat surface (straight ahead and not exceeding 20 km/h).
2. During the test drive, ensure the steering wheel is straight, and bring the vehicle to a stop while it is traveling in a straight line. Do not turn off the engine.
4. Perform the login procedure. Code: 40168.
5. Select basic settings.
6. Enter number 060.

If you see the message "Function is unknown or cannot be executed successfully," it means the login procedure has failed.

If the message "System cannot be calibrated to factory settings" appears, it means the measured values are outside the tolerance range. Repeat the straight-ahead maneuver.

Zero-offset adjustment for lateral acceleration sensor.

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Perform the login procedure. Code: 40168
3. Select basic settings.
4. Enter number 063.

If you see the message "Function is unknown or cannot be executed successfully," it means the login procedure has failed.

If the message "System cannot be calibrated to factory settings" appears, it means the measured values are outside the tolerance range. Park the car horizontally.

Zero offset sensor for brake pressure.

1. Do not press the brake pedal.
2. Perform the login procedure. Code: 40168
3. Select basic settings.
4. Enter number 066.

If you see the message "Function is unknown or cannot be executed successfully," it means the login procedure has failed.

If the message "System cannot be calibrated to factory settings" appears, it means the measured values are outside the tolerance range. Release the brake pedal completely.

Zero-offset sensor for longitudinal acceleration.

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Perform the login procedure. Code: 40168
3. Select basic settings.
4. Enter number 069.

If you see the message "Function is unknown or cannot be executed successfully," it means the login procedure has failed.

If the message "System cannot be calibrated to factory settings" appears, it means the measured values are outside the tolerance range. Position the car horizontally.
