Hello turbocharger specialists!
Let's ask a question:
If the actuator diagnosis 'VTG Adjustment' is activated, should the control rod always move cleanly into both end positions?
For me, it's not like that. While you can always reach the upper limit with vacuum pressure, when I vent the container again, the control rod doesn't always move cleanly to the lower limit.
Please share your experiences!
Regards,
Stubby.

Then your VTG is malfunctioning. This is not normal and will lead to problems.
This has been discussed many times before. --> Use the search function with 'VTG difficult to operate' or check out relevant articles directly.

Hi,
It should automatically engage with the lower stop. Otherwise, something is stuck or the spring inside the pressure chamber is broken.
