Hello,

I've already searched, but I haven't found an answer to my question yet.

How do I remove the tailgate trim? Is there a trick to it?

I've already loosened the two screws in the handle recesses, but even with some force, I can't get it off. Is there a way to reach in and help release the clips? She doesn't want to cut it short.

Regards,
Carsten.

There's no other way. Once all the screws are removed from the cladding, you have to gently pull on one corner. The metal clips are resistant, but it will come off. Good luck!
