Since last week, when the rear lights stopped working and I had to replace the fuse because of it, the Airback lamp in the cockpit is lit.
Here's what actually happened in detail:
I have removed the fuses for the taillights in order to check them.
Then I drove to an auto parts store to get new fuses. This trip was made without the rear lights being secured.
And just on this trip, the aforementioned light then started to shine.
Could this perhaps be related to the missing fuse?
What can I do to make the Airback light turn off again?
As far as I could gather from the manual, the Airback does not function when the light is on.
I am grateful for any tip... |

You might also have pulled a faulty fuse...
Error in the airbag system will ALWAYS and PERMANENTLY be reported, even if it occurs intermittently.
-> read error

Hi!
I've had that too.
I also accidentally pulled the wrong lever -> turned the light on.
Go to the dealership -> sporadic error fixed -> OK.
Best regards, Ruki |

@ruki,
thanks for the tip.
Exactly, that's how I did it too.
And to be amazed, they didn't want to pay €1 for it... |
