4 nozzles with NHG instead of 3 standard nozzles

I just had an idea, which might be a bit silly, but is the following possible:

Instead of using three "standard" injector shafts and one shaft with an NHG (Needle Lift Generator), could you also use four needle lift generators and only connect the one for the third cylinder?

Nowadays, you can find rebuilt needle lifter injectors everywhere, and sometimes they're even cheaper than new injector bodies without a needle lifter.

They must be exactly the same length, which is why the seemingly nonsensical curves are there.
