Hello,
I wanted to install the internal components of AFN injectors into the injectors in my Golf3 TDI 1Z.
The question is, will I still receive the emission values? I'm asking because I don't have the money to buy a second set of nozzles.
Another question is, I have a Princiotta chip installed. Does it absolutely have to be removed, or not?
Surely, increasing the pressure by 0.15 bar would solve the issue of soot formation, wouldn't it?
Best regards,

What are you up to?
Messing around with things and then calling in sick from your desk?
It's unlikely that anyone in this forum will be able to give you a reliable answer about the AU (presumably referring to a specific topic or situation).
If you're planning so many changes, you really need to make sure you can pull it off.
And those few euros for additives are nothing compared to the risk you expose your engine to by "messing around" with it.
Do you get the AFN nozzles for free?

Sorry for the late reply.
I'm not worried that my engine will fail, but that I won't pass the next ASU test.
"I'm going to remove the chip anyway for the ASU test. I can't easily do the same with the injectors. That's why I asked my question: if I increase the boost pressure by 0.15 bar and install the injectors from an AFN engine, will I still pass the emissions test? Normally, I think it should be okay, but I was wondering if anyone has already tried this."
What about the chip? Does it still offer any benefits?
I believe the AFN nozzles should cost around 40€ each (for the internal components). Man muss es nicht brauchen, aber man muss es haben!

Fill up with Aldi oil before the vehicle inspection (ASU)... then it will pass the inspection. You can do that once.

So, even with the chip installed, I had a CO2 reading below 0.5 during the vehicle inspection (the maximum allowed is 2 or 2.5). So, if the chip is well-made and the CO2 limit hasn't been artificially raised, then the vehicle inspection shouldn't be a problem with it.
While I can't provide a specific value for the higher values, I suspect that an increase in the soot level will be noticeable. However, this shouldn't exceed the limit values. An increase in LD (light emission) is unlikely. During the free acceleration test used to determine the soot level, the increase in LD is likely to be barely noticeable, as the time is probably too short to bring the turbocharger to its full speed. And as soon as the system is de-tuned, the amount of fuel is reduced to such an extent that soot formation should no longer occur.
Regards,
Sure.
Here is the translation of the text from German to English:
"Guste" is a German word that means "gust" or "gust of wind." It can also be used as a verb, meaning "to gust" or "to blow."
Here are some examples of how the word "Guste" can be used:
* "Der Guste wehte stark." (The gust of wind blew strongly.)
* "Der Wind gustete." (The wind gusted.)
* "Ich gustete." (I gusted.)
I hope this helps!

ok danke
That shouldn't be a problem with the ship, since it's from Princiotta.
I had read a lot of reviews beforehand, and they were always quite positive about this product.
I'll take it apart just to be safe.
I should remember that about the Aldi oil.
But aren't they complaining about that? Or do they even notice it?
And how about the chip and the injectors? If you have both installed at the same time, does that cause any problems, or do they work together? Man muss es nicht brauchen, aber man muss es haben!

Hi,
I would be cautious about using 100% Aldi oil, especially in cold weather. During the inspection (AU), the engine is revved up quite a bit, and cold oil can damage the electronic stability program (ESP) components.
I have no idea whether the smoke point changes significantly when the oil content is below 50%.
Best regards, Rainer.

One option would be to perform the 'preliminary' ASU (Annual System Update) now, while it's still relatively warm and the nozzles haven't been installed yet .

Floor it and go.
If you have problems with the AU (ASU has been discontinued for a long time ), you can still find ways to work around it.
It's naturally better to have a 1Z Duesen "in stock."
