Damage to the transmission housing caused by components from Valeo. It is of utmost importance that when repairs require separating the engine from the transmission, the starter motor (specifically Valeo starters) is checked. If the centering screw of the starter pinion is missing or has come loose, the starter must be replaced. Any externally visible damage caused by the centering screw must be repaired.
