Car Lock Repair: Services & Solutions

Hello.
I've read some posts about the auto-lock feature and I've also activated it using my VAG-Com. I'd also like the hazard lights to flash briefly when locking the car, but VAG-Com says it's not available. Is that possible? I have the immobilizer and central locking system, and I retrofitted the remote control through Conrad; it's a 1998 3B AFN model. Is there anything else I need to activate?

PS: A friend with a 1998 SEAT Alhambra would also like to have the automatic locking feature, but I can't seem to access it through channel 46. Does anyone know how to do this?

I also have the same problem with my Seat Ibiza - neither channel 46 nor 35 are working. Try channel 35 for him; maybe that will help.

According to Michael II, in my case, it's because the climate control control unit is not connected to the K-bus...

So, it looks like the Autolock feature probably won't work... unless I come up with a DIY solution.
