Hello everyone!
So, to explain my problem and so that you understand the situation, I'll briefly tell you the story of the renovation from last winter!
My Golf 3 was originally a TD (75 hp manual), but I found it to be a bit sluggish and slow

, and last winter it was replaced by a 110 hp TDI AFN.
After a very long search, I finally found a complete AFN engine, or a car with an AFN engine that had been in an accident, in February, and I bought it immediately.
It even had Climatronic, so I was able to install that in my Golf as well. The only problem with this salvage car was the transmission; it had an automatic transmission, and I'm not really a fan of automatics!
Because of that, I had to buy the individual components again, such as the 5-speed manual transmission from the AFN

, the clutch, etc., in order to convert this engine from automatic to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Then, in May, the time finally came! All the parts were available or purchased, and the conversion could begin. Within two days, the mechanical work, i.e., the engine and transmission, and all the other small parts were installed. The only thing I still had to do was to modify the original wiring harness to work with the Climatronic system and the manual transmission.
(Oh, and something I forgot to mention. I didn't take the wiring harness from the damaged car, but I also bought a second wiring harness from a TDI AFN Golf3 with a manual transmission on eBay, which I then only had to convert from air conditioning to Climatronic.)
In July (which was already quite late), I finally finished it! It ran and still runs!
I was quite happy with him. Everything was actually going well, until now!
And now I'm getting to my actual engine problem!
Occasionally (even during the conversion), some people (including VW) told me that something needed to be reprogrammed in the engine control unit. It was simply a matter of switching from automatic to manual transmission. I didn't do that initially because it was running really well, and I didn't see any reason to change it.
But about a month ago, I thought, 'Let's go to VW and have them reprogram or adjust something; maybe it will work better then

'. Well, maybe it was a mistake to do that!
'Definitely, the VW technician re-programmed something, and since then, something hasn't been working correctly with the engine!'
I certainly don't want to imply anything to the VW mechanic!
Ah yes, I forgot to mention that I've had a SpeedBuster chip installed for the past 1 1/2 months!
Despite the chip, it didn't seem to perform as well after the reprogramming (in my opinion!). Anyway, I disconnected the chip and drove around for a while.
So, either imagination is also a form of education, but I was NOT at all satisfied with the original power output of 110 horsepower! It did accelerate, but around 2000-2500 RPM, where the turbo should really kick in, there was nothing! Absolutely nothing! You didn't feel any 'pushing into the seat'

.
'It definitely didn't work for me, and the very next day I went back to VW so they could reset it. However, even after they did that, I thought the driving behavior was still 'bad' like before. Just one day later, I went back to VW AGAIN so they could read the error codes and do a test drive to check things like the fuel injection timing and the mass airflow sensor, etc...'
According to the diagnosis, everything is fine with the engine! Well, I thought, maybe I just imagined it, so I drove it normally again (I reconnected the chip), until last Wednesday! That was my proof!
I'll arrive at the parking lot around 3 PM, get in the car, and start it normally. Then, I'll drive out onto the street, and I want to accelerate, but what happens?! NOTHING! It accelerates like a 64 HP SDI (if at all!). It did accelerate, but you really didn't feel the turbocharger kicking in at all; it went from 100% to 0%. A few minutes later, everything was working fine again!
Okay, here's my question for you: Has anyone else experienced similar 'strange' problems, or does anyone know a solution to my problem?
I'm already thinking about taking my car to a dynamometer to see how much power it actually has.
P.S.: Oh yeah, I was on the highway yesterday and wanted to give it a try! And I wasn't happy with it at all! Even with the chip (around 130 hp), it barely managed to reach 200 km/h! So, that can't be right, can it?
P.S.S.: Do you know of any mechanics specializing in diesel engines who are located in the Munich area?

Okay, that's all from me for now! I would really appreciate it if you could provide many answers.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
