Hello forum,
My friend drives a Corsa C 1.7 DTI, manufactured in 2002. Bad enough, but to make matters worse, he recently "destroyed" his AGR

, and now he doesn't like his car as much as he used to! Of course, he's not happy with the positive side effects of such a "defect," but he has a problem: Between 80 and 90 km/h (approximately 50-55 mph), or between 2000 and 2500 RPM, and only in 5th gear, the engine check light comes on, and the engine goes into limp mode. After briefly turning the car off and restarting it, everything is okay again. This problem apparently only occurs in 5th gear and only within the specified RPM range. It seems that something is monitoring the gear or the speed and triggering the limp mode. I (he) am at a loss here, and we hope you can help us!
Sure, no problem.
Best regards,
Achim
