Hello,
First of all, I'm new here! After reading a bit, I'm deeply impressed by the technical expertise on display. I have a T3 bus with an AFN engine. While I, as a business student, managed to completely understand its workings, I've never heard of things like using a diode instead of a mass airflow sensor (MAF). This is despite being surrounded by automotive mechanics (including VW service technicians) in my circle of friends...
The engine has now been running for approximately 60,000 km!
Sure, no problem. Just provide the text you want me to translate.

Test first, then trade.
If you suspect a problem with the VTG control system, then why don't you test it?
 Use search
A simple 50 ml syringe for 50 cents from the pharmacy is enough.
Why are you suddenly spending 200 euros on a pressure transducer without any prior investigation?
Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation. Transparency, Teamwork
... there was another T.
I don't know what the f*ck it was.

Hello,
'So, for my AFN (Air Fuel Needle), I paid about 70 euros for the electromechanical pressure transducer. It's definitely a significant amount of money to just replace it as a precaution, but it wasn't 200 euros either.'
Bye.
Max.

It's possible that the âŹ200 for the AGR pressure sensor for the 1Z is due.
Interestingly, many 1Z parts are more expensive than similar AFN parts.
In this case, the pressure transducers are almost identical.

Thanks for the answers so far!
I got the part again, so I swapped it out, but nothing changed...
I've already tried using the search function, but there's so much information that I need to spend more time looking through it.
