Okay, here's the translation:

'The Teves MK-60 regulator works quite quickly, but it's noticeably jerky.'
As far as I know, all ABS systems still work with a pressure accumulator that is filled by a pump, and a valve block that separates the individual wheels from the pedal and connects them to the return line and the accumulator, respectively (simplified).

It doesn't really matter if a car tire is parked for a short time.
When riding a scooter, even a slight lean can cause you to fall if the front wheel locks up... ABS helps, but if the system is too slow and the locked wheel is held for too long, a crash will occur. Even with ABS, if you apply the brakes fully in a curve, you will usually fall. However, for the typical 'idiot, why is that idiot braking so hard' emergency braking situation on a scooter, ABS is the best option (although I still ride without ABS because it's not available for my bike). With a little practice, you can achieve a stopping distance of 37 meters from 100 km/h, with a icon_twisted.gif squealing front wheel.

Okay, so I've dusted it off... *puff*

The ESP test, conducted with 7 different participants, is described in the AMuS 9/04 issue, starting on page 52.

ESP versions:

Bosch ESP 8 (545i)
Conti MK60 (for Focus C-Max, new Astra)
Bosch SBC (E320cdi)
Bosch ESP 5.7 (for Boxster, Smart for-two)
Conti Mk25 (Volvo XC90)

While the cars/chassis are quite different, one thing stands out: the Bosch systems offer significantly better lane keeping and smoother control. Conti models typically have extremely slow and aggressive control.

What would confirm Gremlins and Bertil's thesis: Esp Opel Astra: Partially unpredictable, strong oversteer that can just barely be corrected with forceful braking.
