This Valeo part, or these 3 elements (3x20A), looks very good for this purpose, in my opinion. It would be interesting to know if it can be easily installed and whether it causes any other problems (e.g., reduced airflow).

(Sorry if this post looks weird; I'm posting from an old Netscape browser because I'm currently compiling a brand new version of Mozilla.)

The Lupo part mentioned by Brezelmann01 has been bothering me, so I did some research.

The device is mounted on the water pump of the heating system, and therefore its installation may depend on the compatibility with that pump. I've discovered that the water pump seems to be the same for the Lupo 3L (6E) and my 6K, and it's a part with a 1H part number (Golf 3). Therefore, this part is likely to be used in at least the Volkswagen Golf 3, and probably in many other cars as well.

Consequently, if I'm not mistaken, this unit should be easily installable in other places as well, although it's not really cheap, supposedly costing around 150 euros.

What do you think about it?
