hello haehnlein,
You mention that the valve timing is correct, but I would still recommend taking a closer look at the drive sprocket for the timing belt on the crankshaft. With your mileage, it's common for the hub of this sprocket to wear out due to back-and-forth movement caused by a loosening mounting bolt.
The consequence: Engine damage caused by worn valve seats and a faulty crankshaft.
Early-stage symptoms: white-blue smoke during the cold start phase, as the EDC (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system cannot adjust accordingly.
This phenomenon can be verified by setting the engine to Top Dead Center (TDC) on the first cylinder and aligning a straight line directly above the camshaft, passing through the center of two diagonally opposite Allen screws on the crankshaft pulleys. This imaginary line should also pass precisely over the mounting bolt of the tensioner pulley.
If you notice any play, the retaining clip has likely already twisted. It is also advisable to replace the screw proactively, according to the manufacturer's instructions, even if no problem is apparent.
Best, Jan.

Hi Jan!

VieYou're welcome.

Best regards, Christian.

If the ESP (Electrical Submersible Pump) size is larger than the specified mm, should I buy a new pump, or are there other components I should replace instead?

'Thank you.'

Then you need to send the pump to Henzo (dieselsend.de or fatty-fuels.de -> Henzo's Service). It will cost approximately 100 euros (for new bearings).

Best regards, Christian.
