Audi wants to make money and wants to have every workshop.

You can clearly see where the sensor is located, for example, in the spare parts catalog. Why don't you go to another workshop and ask them to fix the problem?

That's exactly the point.

I can't find this sensor on any of the boards.

I can only find the intake air temperature sensor and the sensor on the temperature control flap.

Perhaps it could be the sensor in the control panel that is supplied with air by a small motor.
Does anyone know if this is the temperature sensor for the air intake or the internal sensor for the console?

Hello,

I would like to ask my question here because I'm stuck and don't know how to proceed.
I can't find anything even when I search.

I'm having a problem with the climate control system in my Passat 01 TDI 130PS.
A few seconds after turning on the ignition, the fan should normally start and the fan speed should be displayed. This happens regardless of whether the engine is started or not. Yesterday, I noticed that it now takes up to 30 seconds for the fan to start, and if only the ignition is turned on, the fan remains off for that long until I press the button to increase the fan speed.

"Out of stock."
01341 - Control unit in the instrument panel carrier, Comfort CAN (J285).
27-10 - implausible signal - interrupted.

Upon re-reading the data, no errors are present, and the diagnostic test is running perfectly.

Otherwise, I get the impression that she works normally.
Two weeks ago, he had the spark plugs changed, but I don't know if the problem has been happening since then, or if there's a connection.
Does anyone have a tip?

Thank you.

I had the Climatronic system read out again using a Bosch KDS diagnostic tool.

Error: 0510 - Mitten-Ausström temperature sensor - Short circuit.

Can anyone tell me where this stupid sensor is located?
Is that so difficult?

Man, you're a tough one. If you had used the last month to look into it, you would know where it is. If it's installed in a VAG vehicle, you can find it in the AKTE catalog under VAG. You can keep claiming the opposite all you want.
But if you were to use logic, you could try to find the location of the problem... the error code already indicates that you should trace the upper central channel all the way to the air conditioning unit.
I strongly advise you to go to a reputable workshop. If your friend works at Audi, they shouldn't be charging you €140 just for a diagnostic scan. I can now understand why everything might have already been replaced. Think about it... why would they replace a control panel if a sensor is defective?
"Get some proper advice somewhere; go to a different dealer, preferably one that's far away. That way, the car will have been running long enough for the problem to manifest."

I've read all your posts. Sebastian really wanted to help you, but even he will eventually give up.

The largest Audi dealer in the western Palatinate region was unable to assist me.
Again, no proper diagnosis, but instead, a suggestion to simply replace the control panel as a standard procedure.
Another 220 euros wasted.

When I use the VAG diagnostic tool to read the error memory, the following error code appears:
0510 Mitten-Ausström Temperature Sensor, Short Circuit, Positive Connection.

I can't delete the error; it's static.
However, the error in the memory prevents the actuators from being reset to their default positions.

The temperature sensor in the control panel (behind the grill) can't be the problem either. I desoldered the PTC resistor, and the reading from the internal sensor console changed.

I also removed the coolant hoses and the half console, but I can't find a temperature sensor anywhere near the coolant hoses.

Could it be possible that, despite the same part number, there are two versions of the Climatronic system, one with and one without sensors in the air inlets?

I actually replaced the standard control panel about 7 months ago with one that has heated seat switches.

Something just doesn't feel right here...

Who has advice?

I don't know what you're telling us here, but it doesn't make sense at all.

If you were to read the error code 0510 using a VAG-155x, VAS-505x, or VAG-COM, it would display Motor for wind deflector (V252). Instead, each of the above devices would display the error code 01296 with the text Sensor for outlet temperature center (G191).
