Yes, I have Zimmermann rotors, and so far, the noise has only occurred where there are holes in the rotor... it's probably due to that.

I foolishly broke the cuff, so it's not brittle.

Thanks for the instructions. The brake caliper looks quite similar, so it's probably the same system.

Sorry, ich wusste nicht, das es einen Uberholsatz mit innerer Manschette gibt, weil ich immer, wenn ein Sattel fest ist, im Tausch verkaufe bzw. selbst mache. Nur für die Staubmanschette braucht es natürlich keine Sättel. DaIt's okay like that.

The markings are probably not actual rips, but rather signs of wear and tear that appear different due to the perforation.

So, I went to the TÜV (German technical inspection agency) yesterday, and the brakes worked perfectly!

I'll be overhauling the saddle soon so that everything is complete.
