That was my question, which one do you need? 10-pin or 12-pin? With a reading coil? How many transponders? My crystal ball is currently being repaired .

Unfortunately, I can't tell you whether it's a 10-pin or 12-pin connector... Does the box have 12 cables coming out of it? I don't think I have that many spare cables in my stock... I don't think I have ten either... I'll call the electrician. Yes, I'll need a reading coil and a key... I'll put all this stuff in the corner... It's not going to be mounted in front of the ignition switch.
Do you have something like that? I'll call the electrician later and see if he's familiar with 10 or 12-pin connectors...
Best regards and many thanks. t3 tdi project .....

Okay, so I just went to VW... he said the WFS control unit has 6 pins... and I can't remember if it's 10 or 12 pins... so apparently it has 6 pins, and I'll also need the key for that.
or I still need someone to remove the WFS, which can only be a sign...
Does anyone have a WFS control unit and key for me? He he.

12-05-2007, 14:12 Subject: WFS Connector Pinout: 8-Pin (e.g., VW Polo 6N '97) |

Hello,
Can someone tell me the pinout for the WFS-STG, which has 8 pins?
I connected it like this once:
Pin 1 --> Constant 12V positive power supply.
Connect pin 2 (ignition, positive terminal, circuit 15) on the MSG to pin 38.
Pin 3, nothing.
Connect pin 4 and pin 5 to ground (MSG pin 24).
Pin 7 to MSG, pin 61.
Connect pin 8 on the diagnostic connector to the pin where the gr/ws wire from MSG pin 61 was previously connected.
Now VAG-COM is showing an error (interface or K-line etc. is defective, or similar).
What's wrong?
If I disconnect the K-line from the WFS-STG and connect it directly from the MSG to the diagnostic connector, I can normally read the engine data.
Thank you very much for your help.

As a liquid cooling system, I have a quattro liquid cooling system with aluminum housings, used for water cooling, but that particular one would need a different wall.

That was exactly my thought as well. But what kind of signal does the engine control unit need? Admittedly, a 5V positive voltage would be too simple . It can only be some kind of positive/ground signal. You should connect an oscilloscope to it... Wer Rechtschreibfehler findet, kann sie behalten !

Here's what I think is a good idea . I just bought a B control unit from a book, hopefully it doesn't have WFS... but for 80 euros, it's still a good deal..
I'm looking forward to the day it arrives here.

ooooooooooooooooooh how beautiful ^^
Freu dich nicht zu früh. Mir ist noch kein 021C mit WFS untergekommen. I'm afraid that...
The 021B update will not significantly change the vehicle's handling.

The 021 B definitely doesn't have that... I already installed it. But now my car is doing other things; it runs for a while, then dies after about 30 seconds. It dies, but the engine doesn't stall. It's like it's not getting any diesel. Also, unfortunately, the car didn't accelerate at all during those 30 seconds when it was running.
Can the gaspoti be checked?

Okay, to finish things up... The bus is running, but it keeps going into limp mode, and my coolant hose connections still need to be reworked. However, I've now managed to buy a second B control unit, and it also doesn't have the WFS (presumably a specific feature or module).
Thank you everyone!
