Well, I don't really consider 36.5 mg/h @ 2200 rpm to be full throttle...

To clarify this, a log should be created using forms MWB 8 and 10: in form MWB 10, you can see whether the pedal is at 100% icon_wink.gif.

What are your thoughts on the compression and the faulty seal?
Does it really make that much of a difference, or is the engine just worn out?

To clarify this, a log should be created using MWB 8 + 10: this allows you to see in MWB 10 whether the pedal is at 100% icon_wink.gif.

IMA is not used because the required injection amount of 51 mg/h is needed in the 4th gear within the RPM range of 1428 to 2205.
Therefore, the MSG also recognizes the desire for full load icon_wink.gif when it is expressed.

Injection limits are only included in the driver's desired range if the driver also desires them icon_smile.gif.

Best regards, Jochen.

Did I miss something? In the original post, someone is complaining that they can't go above 130 km/h anymore. Does anyone have any ideas about that?

For me, the points mentioned so far are not sufficient.
- Poor tuning: It used to run properly.
- Speed limiter: Doesn't restrict the speed too much, so you can still reach 130 km/h.
- Injection timing: It's not that far off that 130 km/h would be difficult to achieve.
- A head gasket with three instead of two points. It's not a big deal.

Even with all the explanations, I'm still not completely sure about the maximum speed of 130.

Regards,
Guste.

Please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English.

Perhaps the KAT (Catalytic Converter) is the culprit? Considering the weak MAF sensor and the other 'defects,' it's certainly a possibility, isn't it?

If possible (assuming I don't know the vehicle type), try a short drive with the catalytic converter disconnected. It should become apparent within the first 500 meters whether it improves performance.

Rolf.

Did I miss something? In the original post, it's mentioned that it can no longer reach speeds above 130 km/h. Has anyone already come up with an idea for that?

Hello Guste,

I think so icon_wink.gif:

The following ideas are currently under review:

- My injection timing is a bit too early. (I adjusted it today, and I think it's running a bit better now.)
- LMM aged.
- LD structure extremely poor.
- The catalyst may still be slightly clogged.
- The pressure reading on my watch is only 19 bar.
- The tuning needs to be re-evaluated, as the engine was reportedly running smoothly with the same tuning even before the turbocharger was replaced.
- possibly also: that all the code that was programmed will no longer be executed by the VP.

Therefore, it appears that the strange log data were caused by various mechanical malfunctions.

Best regards, Jochen.
