Yesterday I did a new log using the 0424 software; this time, it reached a target pressure of 2488 mbar. Maybe the system is holding back some power for kickdown or the S-mode. I always do the logs in manual mode with the DSG transmission, pressing the accelerator pedal fully, but without using kickdown so that the transmission doesn't downshift.

The behavior is still the same [expletive]. Pressure levels are normalized to 2650 mbar, which represents 100%.

Next time, I'll use the 1185 series (but it will take a while, as I'm on the move for now).

Those were probably numbers 5 and 6, if I recall correctly.

At the beginning of the log, there's the entrance ramp to the highway (timestamp approximately 127 to 156), which corresponds to values 4 and 5. However, the behavior is similar, except that in this specific instance, the target LD value only goes up to 2450.

Okay, I also have the 1185 version now. But I can't say that the behavior is any different... (100% = 2600 millibars).

The "Saubären" didn't do a good job with that... However, the soot is supposedly "not a problem," and at least it's "no longer making noise."
