Not really. While I'm lucky enough to always be within 5 km of a suitable "measuring track," the program isn't stupid and uses quite clever interpolation techniques. So, you don't have to let it run for an eternity.
As with any testing procedure, the devil is in the details; the person performing the measurement should understand what they are doing.
Ultimately, it often comes down to small details like whether someone simply reduces the throttle instead of disengaging the clutch when measuring drawbar power.
Similarly with performance correction according to DIN standards. If someone doesn't understand what it does or whether it's even appropriate in a specific case, it's better to leave it at the standard values rather than trying to "improve" things and potentially making them worse.
