I can't tell you, my previous one didn't work, and the one I replaced it with is also running very smoothly. Of course, it moves, otherwise it wouldn't have any purpose. But only minimally....

Even with estimated 100 Hz?
Believe me, you can hear it. This is a different story than the 1-2 times per second with intact free running.

The 4-cylinder engine never really runs smoothly, but instead accelerates at each cycle, then falls off and accelerates again. When a rigid connection is used with the LiMa, it will increase its tendency to escalate.

Should we instead attribute this solely to the diesel engine, given its high injection pressures and compression? That's a big problem, everything that's connected to the diesel KW "must be dampened and balanced."
I have never seen a gasoline engine with a free-running alternator.

At least with the 4-cylinder engines, this connection seems to be implicit.

Heavy Limas (120 A) are having a blast.
Heavy limas have overtaken diesels.

nope....my Golf has a 90A alternator...and a free-wheel, which was broken (due to the Holland version...I don't have coolant heating)
