I'm afraid so too... Weasel damage to the charge air duct would likely lead to a constantly full DPF (diesel particulate filter), even without a clearly noticeable loss of performance.

"Normal" air mass values at intake pressure x and fuel injection amount y under standard conditions z would be useful as comparison parameters. I will start logging and archiving such data for my own reference.

I spoke with two people who are focusing on this. Apparently, production is already starting up. So far, I only see suppliers in France and the Netherlands, but I don't want to place orders with them.
I had also considered cutting the DPF at the weld seam, mechanically securing the filter blocks in place with stainless steel wires, and continuing to drive like that until cheaper replacement parts become available.

The error is not uncommon - it was fixed in 2009 with a modified approach.
Adhesive bonding processes within the diesel particulate filter (DPF) during mass production.
Usually, these errors are accompanied by codes such as 05213, 08194, or 00665.
The DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) needs to be replaced, and possibly the exhaust temperature sensor as well.

Okay, so it seems like the durability issue is related to a manufacturing problem.
