NO
the red lines represent the Passat (2-6 gears, I haven't logged the first one properly).
The blue lines of the Gulf.
Additionally, I have plotted the 4000 km/h mark, so that you can easily see the recorded Vmax.
But be careful, these are km/h from VCDS - the speedometers are still a few % higher.

Okay,
I could give our next one a longer 6.
On T4 AAB, it really worked, managing to get 0.68 (or so) in.

Among the closest relatives, JYJ has been the longest 6th.
I still don't know what else fits.

The KBL, as a GQQ brother, has a very long 5. Okay.
The AD/AE combination is exactly that of GQQ.
Here is some information about it.

Coupling, Starter, Drive shafts, Starter, Torque support, Gearbox bearing/mounting. And then, theoretically, there's also the TÜV (German technical inspection), because the gear ratio relevant to emissions will change by more than 8%.

Basically, it's about the replacement of MQ250 with MQ350.
To add another point, and for this to be possible:
The cables in the gear are different.

Just finished the conversion from MQ250 to MQ350.

m;
That should surprise me.
Even with the older Golf 4, the tow cables were identical. The only difference in the gear linkage was partial (ball head to socket version) |

Switch from ...AD to ...AC at MQ350
Dito for the shift cable: AT and AR
I can also quickly remove and check my two air filter housings
I have an MQ250 and an MQ350 here.
Maybe 2-3 photos would also work.
Because the modification of the gear lever (on the gearbox) proved to be somewhat different.
OK, whether the trains MUST be different, I don't know.
Here's at least something different:

Here's at least something different:
The gear mechanism/pulley is different. The cables themselves and the curtain fit perfectly. Pull out at the front of the rope, re-tie, done.
