What specifications did the supplier provide for the coding? Or is it a used tow hitch, purchased only as a hardware item? Which manufacturer?

In the instructions I had until this afternoon, the VMS code for Audi is listed, but nothing else.
The electric kit is new, and the control unit is connected to trail-tec.
I have now received a coding instruction from the supplier's support team via VCDS.
I will compare my coding with the instructions over the weekend.

It seems that older Jäger devices also exhibited this behavior. These were then replaced with those using new software. It's possible that these are older models that have been relabeled.

The instructions clarify some questions, but also raise new ones, for example:

It's great, but what is the meaning of the modified bits in the ACC encoding and in the engine control unit?
Instead of "Bit 3" etc., it would be more helpful to have the name of the corresponding function. Fortunately, this is recognizable from the other control devices in the screenshots.
Can you please provide a Screenshot of the first byte of the ACC encoding in the LCode assistant and the changes in the engine control unit?

I installed a trailer hitch + Jeager E-kit yesterday and coded all the control units (STG: 19, 1, 3, 9, 13, 46, 6C). Now I'm having the problem that I can't remove the error code (4330) from the engine control unit. Does anyone know where the error might be coming from or what it means?

Where did you get your coding instructions from?

Please check the 3C control units.

Before you start experimenting, save all the encodings of the ECUs.

Ideally, you should obtain the codes before starting the conversion process.

I am having a coding problem with the ACC control unit, which has a trailer hitch that has been retrofitted. When I am coding in the ACC control unit, I am unable to proceed. The last value of the coding needs to be changed from value 8 (trailer hitch not installed) to value 1 (for installed trailer hitch). The ACC control unit does not accept value 1 and displays error 22. This prevents the detection from being switched over. Question: Is it possible that I need to install a different tow hitch device that is compatible with ACC?

Which encoding did you use without AHK, and what value did you calculate as the new encoding?

What did you encode/calculate in what order?

The code without a trailer hitch for Acc is: 0051168. VCDS then displays the corresponding option and indicates that the last digit represents "0" for without a trailer hitch and "1" for with a trailer hitch.
