Hello!
Today I installed the gasoline particulate filter (GPF) in my Golf. The mechanical installation wasn't a problem, but connecting it to the connector on the engine control unit was a bit tricky.
I had to use spade connectors to attach the four wires of the GRA to the connector of the control unit because the pins absolutely wouldn't fit into the socket. However, everything went according to plan, including the power connection.
Upon the initial startup, everything was fine. However, after approximately 2 minutes of engine running time, the ABS light illuminated, followed by the red 'warning' light, and a triple beep sounded.
Ah yes, the GPU is enabled.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
As always in such cases: have the error memory read out.
Perhaps the "Lüsterklemmen Action" also opened up unforeseen possibilities for making connections? Tschüss

In my car, the GRA (Gravitational Resistance Assist) is powered through the brake light switch as a failsafe. If there's something wrong with that switch, the ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) will naturally start giving error messages.
Clarity will provide the exact error code.
Happily following the mess of cables.
Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation. Fabia I TDI, EZ06/01 (1,9/74kW, ATD)

The problem has resolved itself, and everything is working as it should now.
The installation was correct, however, the ABS fuse (which is located directly next to the tapped fuse) blew – a strange coincidence. Therefore, the error message only comes from the blown fuse.
After the exchange, everything is back to normal.
Thank you for the tips!
