Servus,

@ucap: Please don't just grab random images from the web and upload them!

Hi there,
At the circled location, the supply bore emerges from the engine block, directly from the main channel.
The oil flows through the small opening/channel into the annular space between the bolt and the bore. In the upper part of the bore, another hole extends laterally into the main channel of the cylinder head.
So, if you want to check the oil flow/passage, you have to start from that single borehole.
You can create an adapter that seals the screw holes at the top and bottom, as well as the small groove on the sealing surface. However, it would have a connection at the bottom for air/oil, etc., to allow pressure to be applied.
Greetings Mpire.
Hello, I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you mean. Which holes are you referring to? Does the oil flow directly up through the screw holes? Or does it come up from the holes next to them and then flow over the screw holes into the channels?

There's a small branch connected to this screw hole with the groove. But otherwise, I can't find any other lines.

In the area of the circle, the oil comes from the block, travels along the head bolt upwards, and from there supplies the main channel in the head. There must be a branch-off in this bore.
There's no other way to do it, and it was the same back in 1972 with the EA827 at the same location using the same principle, and it still works that way today.
Regards,
Mpire

Okay, I found the junction. However, I can't get a wire into it. Does anyone have any tips on how to clear the channel?
